About your team

The German Wholesale business is responsible for covering discretionary portfolio management units of banks, family offices, wealth and investment managers as well as insurance firms.

About your role
We support our clients in every aspect of their investment decisions with respect to tactical and strategic portfolio allocations across all assets classes including equities, fixed income, money market, private equity, private credit and real estate. As part of our academy, you’ll learn and grow every day – gaining the skills and knowledge you need to:

Investment Analyses:

Take initiative in analysing various internal investment strategies across a variety of asset classes. You will get the chance to work with industry relevant tools such as Morningstar to further benchmark internal strategies with competitor funds.

Sales Pitches:

Be a part of the front-office team and support colleagues in creating client pitches, preparing fund presentations and data as well as conducting independent research by liasing with international teams across Fidelity.

Data Analysis:

Work in a data-driven world and help us to navigate it: Ranging from fund to client data, you will be entrusted to maintain, optimize and analyse the underlying information to optimize efficiencies and digitize processes

Marketing:

Function as a link between the marketing department and support in organising offline, as well as online events, such as web seminars, mailing campaigns or roadshows for investment professionals.

About you

Eager to grow your knowledge and your career you’ll fit right in. You’ll succeed because you:

• Have a genuine interest in the asset management industry
• a keen interest in the financial services sector and especially for investments
• a commercial acumen and strong analytical and organisational skills
• are fluent in German and English
• have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, PPT)
• already used Morningstar (this is considered a plus but is not required)
