Institutional- Internship 2024 - Paris

Sales and Marketing

Title                 Intern - Institutional

Department      Institutional Sales

Location          Paris

Reports To       Head of Institutional France

Please note that we're looking to hire an intern for 5 months from July 1st to Nov 30th 2024.

Who we are

We’ve been helping clients plan and invest for their futures for over 50 years. From more than 25 locations around the world, we provide investment services and retirement expertise to everyone from central banks to private individuals.

We’re known for acting with integrity and thinking for the long-term. And across our organisation, we foster a welcoming, caring and inclusive culture where people feel respected, trusted and able to be themselves.

The team you’ll join

Join our Institutional sales team and feel like you’re part of something bigger. You will join a team of 3 sales individuals and help to maintain and to grow the existing relationships as well as developing new business with the institutional clients such as pensions, insurer, foundations or corporates.

What you’ll be doing

With the team, you will be locating potential sales leads through market research, by communicating with institutional clients.

As part of our academy, you’ll learn and grow every day – gaining the skills and knowledge you need to:

  • Support sales activity: Help adapting sales pitches or presentations to push relevant expertise, adapt investment materials for client communications, and support the preparation of clients' meetings
  • Client Profiles: Update and produce client profile documentation
  • Client development database: Identify new type of prospects
  • Produce Institutional Client Reporting
  • Client database: Work on and update client tools
  • Client Assets: tracking of institutional clients’ assets, inflows and outflows.
  • Producing performance reports and market/fund newsletters.
  •

How you’ll be supported

We don’t expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. As an intern, and whatever you’ve studied, we’ll help make sure you get the most out of your time with us.

You’ll start with a mini induction during which we’ll introduce you to asset management industry and our business. After that, there are many more ways to develop your skills as your progresses. All the while you’ll be learning on the job, working to clear goals and understanding your own potential.

The difference you’ll make:

As your skills and confidence grow, you’ll become more and more involved in making key decisions for our customers. You’ll help them invest and plan for the futures they want. You’ll provide invaluable support to your team, too.

What we’re looking for

We look for interns (start date July 2024) who are curious, compassionate, eager to learn and ready to get stuck in. A specialization in Finance (Bachelor or Master degree), commercial orientation, strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail are important too. And, as we’re an international organisation, we’ll need you to speak French and English.

Our clients come from all walks of life and so do we. We are proud of our inclusive culture and encourage applications from the widest mix of talent, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, social background and more.
