If you start an application on or after 27th December you will not have 5 days (as stated in the system emails) to compete your on-line assessments or a further 5 days to complete your video interview.

Everything must be submitted by 23:59 on 31st December 2018 for your application to be considered.

About Operations

Operations is a global enterprise comprising myriad functions that support the success of the business, including Project Management, Business Analysts, Investment Operations, Brokerage and Process Automation to name but a few.

What you'll be doing:

Over the course of an 8-week programme, you’ll absorb and learn all about Fidelity International and discover how our component parts work together. This is particularly true within Distribution Operations where, in addition to the lunch and learns and overviews you will receive, you will complete a project in one of; Anti-Money Laundering, Brokerage, Fund Data Management or Pricing.

Who we look for

You need to be ambitious, enthusiastic and driven. We want someone who is unafraid to challenge the status quo, yet someone who can disrupt appropriately. We want innovative thinking but critically, people who can complement this skill with delivery. You need to be both resilient and tenacious in order to overcome any obstacles in your way. You will be graduating in 2019 and you will have a minimum of three C’s at A level or equivalent and be on track for at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent).

Your training and development

We don't expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. You'll start the internship with a mini induction, during which we'll introduce you to asset management and how it fits into the City, as well as to the broader financial markets. We will then provide you with core financial modelling and company valuation training. After that, there are many more ways to develop your skills as your internship progresses. A series of 'lunch and learns' hosted by key business speakers including portfolio managers will give you a first-hand, genuine insight into the full scope of each of our businesses. Social and networking events will help you get to know our people and our culture. All the while you'll be learning on the job, working to clear goals and showing us you deserve a place on our graduate programme.
